Hello all Beatle fans!

Ringo's back.

My typewriter finally dried out and hopefully it will continue to work. Paul mentioned last week that he was carrying my water for a time. However, he didn't tell you he poured water over my typewriter just so he could write to you all.

I think he's jealous!

So, thank you again old and new fans of Rubber Soul, for coming out to the Blue Fox. I hope you enjoyed the surprises we pulled out for you. We changed it up a bit and we hope you liked it! We will be doing more of that in the future.

We would like to thank Wayne Garrett, "Flash" (Ladee, it's your new nickname), for bringing out the toys and snapping pictures of you and us. However, not all of the shots may make it to the website to view & download. (George confiscates them.) So when Flash graces us with his presence at a future show, don't be shy to ask him to snap a shot of you and your friends. You can even ask us to be in your picture (we love an Eastman moment)! However if you want ALL of us lads in the picture, this will prove to be a challenge; it's difficult to get us all together at one time in-between shows!!... it's priceless.

A special “love to you all” goes out to the new acquaintances I've met at North star. Thanks so much for coming out. Flash took some great pictures of you. We hope to see you many more times down the long and winding road.

What's with the bling? We need more to share! Bring your bling and we lads will attempt to show it off during the Abby Road set.

Lets plan on getting together at the next show May 30th at the Minnesota Music Cafe. It's a wonderful place to see a live show.

Peace, Ringo

April 29, 2009

Hello Beatle people,

Paul here again carrying Ringo's water! I've been told he is close to picking out that prized typewriter that will once again give him the voice of all Rubber reporting... I've got great news! The lads and myself have been busy working on new material for the show. There will be some surprises for sure. We will be digging a bit deeper with songs from the Cavern era to more trippy Beatles ala the Magical Mystery Tour period. More George songs, cause we "Need You"... We would like to say "Hello / Goodbye" while roaming in a "Field of Strawberries".... And... "A clue for you all........

The Walrus was Paul"...

It's Tea time everybody...

Cheers,

Paul

February 21, Grand Portage Casino
February 28, Famous Dave's

Hello everybody. Paul here again for the Ringo Report... It's quite evident that whether you are at the top of the world in the beautiful Grand Portage area up on the North Shore of Lake Superior, where wild life reins supreme, or in the bright lights of Up-Town Minneapolis where the nightlife reins supreme, one thing is clear... There are a whole lot of Beatle fans in every corner of this planet we call home. The Grand Portage Casino was a big surprise to us. We did not know what to expect from our mostly Canadian crowd. It was clear that on this night, gambling had taken a back seat for Beatles music! What a warm welcome.. Thanks to our friends to the North!

Famous Dave's in Up-Town was just incredible as well... Again we found ourselves in un-charted waters with a club we have never played before. Once again, as I've stated before... Beatle fans are a special breed. They packed the large venue, and danced the night away, and made the evening very enjoyable for us... The band would like to thank our "Guest George" Sean McNamee for sitting in, and not missing a beat. Keep checking back for up-coming shows, and know that you are the reason we exist...

Til next time...

Cheers, Paul

February 7, Blue Fox, Arden Hills, MN

Hello everybody,

You've got Paul again for the Ringo Report... Until Ringo gets his typewriter fixed, you're stuck with me... What can we say about the Blue Fox? It's become our "Cavern" over the years, and certainly feels like home turf. The Beatle fans that show up there continue to grow, and they are the real deal when it comes to the term "Beatles fans". Thank you for making us feel so appreciated. I can tell you it makes the night very enjoyable for us when the dance floor is full during the very first number! The lads and myself have a break until we head up to the north shore of Lake Superior way up there at the Grand Portage casino on the 21st of February, on the Canadian border. We will miss the regulars that we've been so fortunate to see at most of our shows (Beatle people are dedicated people). We hope to do you proud as your Twin Cities Beatles Tribute Band. See you when we're back in town!

Cheers, Paul

January 30, Medina Entertainment Center, Medina, MN

Hello everyone, Paul here again covering the Ringo Report... Another big thank you to all of you that came out to celebrate all things Beatles at the Medina Entertainment center. It was a great evening of British pop! Starting off the evening was Revolver and the Secret Agents. With three swinging Go Go Dancers dressed in Union Jack dresses, the evening was set for a Mersey side shakedown. Thanks to them, and job well done! With the crowd all warmed up, we took the stage to a sea of people that were ready to keep the night in high gear. The Zappa's were there... We saw many familiar faces, along with many new smiles on not so familiar faces. Thank you to you all.... Come join us at the Blue Fox this Saturday February 7th at the Blue Fox, as we will be celebrating February 7th 1964, the day the Beatles touched down at the newly named Kennedy Airport. A Nation still in grief over the loss of their fallen young president, was looking for something to feel good about again. What they got, nobody saw coming... Beatlemania was here to stay...... and life could be not only good again... it could be great again!

Hope to see you all...

Cheers, Paul

January 24, Minnesota Music Cafe, St. Paul, MN

Hello all... Paul here sitting in for the Ringo Report. I just wanted to say thank you for everyone that came down to our MN Music Cafe debut. Despite the sub-zero temperatures outside, the club was hot-rockin! It is a really great venue for music, and we look forward to playing there again. The amount of people that braved the weather really blew us away, what a crowd! This Friday Jan. 30th, we take the party to the Medina Ballroom with our good friends Revolver, so come on out everybody, we are going to get the Yellow Submarine rockin!

Cheers, Paul

December 3, 2008 Blue Fox, Arden Hills, MN

Hello all you Rubber Soul-Beatle fans!  It’s been a while since I have written. I’ve been a bit moody lately. I guess maybe it has to do with the change of seasons and maybe not enough sun.

This could also correlate with the “real one” and his refusal to respond to emails and requests by his fans. Since we're both under the same cancer sign and share the same birthday, one can only wonder. I should check into the Chinese astrology sings. This could answer some of my own questions.

Ok, so lets get on with Black Friday at the Blue Fox.

Well, I guess the definition of Black Friday is when businesses go financially from the red into the black. Well if that’s the case, all you Beatle people that came out to the Blue Fox surely helped that cause. It was a full house. It was a great party! I applaud you Beatles fans, you know all the words. Thanks for singing and dancing along with us.

The band sounded great thanks to a little help from our friend and sound tech, Bart. He mixes the Beatle sound right.

Sean McNamee, your Ed Sullivan introductions – Priceless!!!!!!!

Tony Tambourine, an unforgettable performance with your jingles!

To all our friends Shelly, Rick, Andria, the English lad Peter, Mariah, Heather, Missy…….(Lads help me out) family and so many more I am forgetting; we really appreciate your support.

We also saw a lot of new Beatle People that we would like to meet & greet, so come see us down the long and winding road.

May your holiday season be festive and safe.

Ringo

8/23/08 Boondock's, Buffalo, MN

Hello Beatle people!

Where in the Boondocks were you?

We had a great night on Saturday and for all of you that took the yellow submarine on its' maiden voyage out to the middle of the pond, we thank you.

For the new friends we met, we hope to see YOU and YOUR FRIENDS down the road. You're crazy.. shhh……

Sound tech Joe; killer job on the monitors!

It sure would have been a treat to get a ride home in that limo ride that the club offers. I just don’t think they'd be willing to drive 100 miles round trip.

The drive home was long. Paul and I had to make a few stops on the way. The Flame Burger was a great choice to wind down for a burger & breakfast at 4:00 AM. Too bad the bar rush was over. It's been known to get a bit crazy late night. It’s amazing how upbeat service people are in the wee hours of the morning.

Next port: TB3 in Freeborn MN this Saturday. Take a road trip; find a motel & Beatle out.

Peace; Love,
Ringo.

8/2 Canadian Days....and stuff

Jeff the webmaster sitting in on the road report this week. As you may have noticed, Ringo was off last week preparing and attending a wedding, so the band had a replacement Ringo to get the job done.

I just received a disk of pics from the Canterbury Park show a couple weeks ago, compliments of Joe Loscheiper from Extreme Snap Shot. Check out the pics on the photo page or click here.

Also check out the "golf cart" extravaganza shots at our show at Pathfinder Village last month, a couple pics on the photo page as well.

I personally attended the Canadian Days show on Saturday, August 2nd. Wow what a crowd! It was a virtual lovefest with all the beads flying around, Canada and USA dancing together as one. Little Canada has a real jem of a fest here, make sure you check it out next year! A big thanks to our friends Uncle Chunk for capping off the beautiful night! Check out my pics and "finale video" here

7/20 Highland Fest:  A Rubber Soul matinee

The School  of Rock Rocks! (The warm-up band).

What a treat to see twelve to fifteen year-olds rockin'. Better yet, were you able to see the parents digging on their kids play Zeppelin, Van Halen, Alice Cooper & Pink Floyd? It's great to see supportive parents (just like my pop is). It was just like seeing parents at their kid's sporting match.

RS had a beautiful day, a tad bit hot....our costumes don’t breath. I’m sure all those Beatle people left with some nice color and lots of new Rubber Soul T-shirts to go with their peace-sign beads!

It’s always nice to see all the familiar faces. Patty you’re as beautiful as ever. Aaron you stud, I bet you make the compound lads jealous. It’s funny how you two gravitated to each other.

Keep the faith.

Ringo

7/25 Slice of Shoreview

“She was just seventeen and you know what I mean”!

I think you’ll get the idea if you were there.

Another beautiful evening in Minnesota!

The Slice organization had a lower stage in front of RS with the opening act, "Redpath" doing a great job--check them out.  Though that lower stage was set up for the opening act, it turned into a dance floor and from the first song, Beatle people were Twisting and Shouting all night long!

To all of you Beatle People, RS hopes you got a “Slice” of what it was like during the British Invasion.

Susie Jones (WCCO Radio) & Tad Simons (Mpls St. Paul magazine), thanks for having our Paul and John on air at WCCO 830 am Friday, discussing tribute bands. Tad, we really enjoyed the kudos of being one of the best and well respected tribute bands in the country.

Rosie and Lenard, I saw you twisting, great to see you.

Ray “the one man band”, thanks for coming out. I’m looking forward to August 9th.

To all the screaming teeny-boppers up front; priceless!

Don, you’re the best! Thanks for your help and conviction.

Ringo

7/18 Canterbury Park

Full moon rising. The live horse racing was in full swing with a great crowd.

What a beautifully strange night it was; we couldn’t ask for a better evening outside. The full grandstand and the ballpark lights, it felt a bit like Shea Stadium.

But it’s all about the horses!

Amber, our Canterbury Park stage director, indicated that the horses were acting very odd, coming out early and acting strange. This made it a challenge for her to direct RS when to start and stop.  We would play 10 minutes, stop in a middle of a song, take a 6 minute break, play 2 minutes etc. This premise is to not spook the horses, but I think the full moon on a gorgeous evening did plenty on its own.

It was nice to play on the other side of the river.

RS would like to thank ARM entertainment for sending out Mark to take some shots of us. I can’t wait to see them.

Fun gig, but different. We hope to do it again!

7/12 Maxx bar & Grill, Ham Lake

I didn’t realize how many beautiful people live up north.

Wow, the sound tech was really into the show. He said it was the best show he'd ever mixed. Now that’s an ego booster! That’s right on because I am the world's greatest drummer! (back in the day)... Just ask John's brother.

Well that’s all from the best Beatle Tribute in the Midwest !

I better saddle up for the horse races on Friday the 18th at Canterbury Downs. Hope to see you there.

Cheers!  ...Ringo

7/9 Ramsey County Fair

Where else can you get a porkcicle? They were mighty tasty.
Yep, the fairs are heating up and anything on-a-stick goes.
What about Ringo on-a-stick!

Did you have opportunity to take your souvenir picture with Rubber Soul?
Wow, that’s getting popular. We certainly enjoy meeting you Beatle People!

It was special to see so many friends out. Thanks big sister Nancy for making the trip.

Jeff and Sue, how did you wrangle that extra t-shirt out of us?

Dan B, John S. thanks for stopping by.

Don Olson, thanks for all your help at the show! We're looking forward to working with you again.

As for Larry and Shar (It’s too loud!!!!), bring some ear plugs. You can blame Bob of “Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe” fame for that. He’s the mix man. Didn’t it sound great out there? He knows how to mix the Beatle sound.

We’re looking forward to hooking up with Bob and his crew again at the “Taste of Shoreview”. I’m sure Bob has many more stories to share.

As for the rest of the RS friends I failed to acknowledge; we love you all!

Our Beatle people family is “Getting Better all the Time”!

7/7/2008

Happy 68th Birthday Ringo! (for real).

It would also be the keeper of the Ringo report. Yet I’m a bit younger.

Cheers!

7/5 Pathfinder Village

So what does it take for RS to become an honorary camping member?

This place is huge and looks like a lot of fun. Where else can you go in this world and learn how to drive a golf cart as a six year old? It's too bad we missed the parade of golf carts. I’ve been practicing my parade wave!

Thanks Janice for send us your videos. Cool!!!!!

Enjoy the summer, it’s getting short.

Ringo

7/3 Clear Lake Iowa

What a beautiful evening!

We would like to thank the multi-thousands of Beatle fans that came out to the show.

We hope you enjoyed our tribute to the greatest band ever, on a perfect evening. We certainly enjoyed all of you. I hope all the pictures taken during the show and the "meet and greet" turned out.

Send us your pictures! We would love to post them.

We love Iowa!

Saturday 6/28

RS had to be on the road by noon to play an early outdoor show in Spicer MN at Melvin’s on the lake.

We prayed for no rain. No luck.

Melvin’s is a fun place and they treated the bands great. Yes bands. We played with some great lads from our side of the pond called “Tumbling Dice” a Rolling Stones tribute. At least the bands were relatively safe playing under a tent. So we stayed dry but those 40 mile winds off of Green Lake were a trip. I feel for the audience, they hard to deal with the rain and wind.

A couple of us partied with some of the Tumbling Dice crew. It would be fun to work together again sometime. It was a nice fit.

Enough said about bad weather, lets hope for some nice weather over the 4th of July weekend!  We have two shows outdoors -  Clear Lake, Iowa and Pathfinder Village . Come down to Clear Lake on the 3rd. The Iowan’s are super people, just make sure you pick up your beer in Minnesota - it’s only 3.2 down there!

Fun & Merriment!!!!!

Ringo

Friday 6/27

Downtown Minneapolis Champs, the gig that almost didn’t happen.

RS & Champs would like to send big thanks to Tim Leaf and his sound crew, also to the weather god to make Champs a successful outdoor event.

So what do you do when it rains when you play in an alley?
How about no sound and lights?

Believe me; it was looking like a short stormy night!

Billy P (Dave) jumped to the task and pulled out his rolodex & starting calling all sound techs he had on file.

Let’s face it, trying to find someone at 7:00 PM the night of the show is pretty tuff. But luckily Tim was available and just happened to be loading gear into his truck for the following day.

Cell phones; can’t live without them.  Excellent!!!!!!!!.

Now all we had to do is pray for NO RAIN.

9:30 came and so did the rain and the tarps. Fortunately the rain was short lived and the show went on.

The crowd was festive and we noticed some Brewer fans that stopped by after the baseball game.

They wouldn’t let us end our show until we played a couple of encores even though the power gods were telling us different.

Minneapolis is fun and we hope to be back.

More sleep!

May 23 - Narrows North, Maple Grove, MN

The official start of summer turned out to be on stage with RS at the Narrows North. It was smoke’n hot.

The Narrows crew and RS were dripping in sweat working hard to keep you happy. It must have been a bit early to turn on the AC……… you think! You Beatle People packed the house!  Later, John had to take an ice bath just to get back to normal. That’s all we’ll say about baths, correct Lads?

RS would like to thank you BP’s for the nice comments & complements about this labor of love.

Country singer Rick; thanks for the libations! (I.e. the pouring of a liquid offering as a religious ritual)

Big hugs to my unofficial sister Mary, for all the love;

Richard E. for the special note you sent us & the couple that made the road trip from Hutchinson , MN .

People like you keep this tribute strong!

Hope you all had a special Memorial weekend.

Peace & God bless

Ringo

May 10 - LCO Casino, Hayward, WI

It’s been a while since Rubber Soul took a road trip. Our 3-hour rain-filled drive got us to the vacationer's paradise of Hayward WI .

The show was a concert/ theater venue in the LCO Casino. The room had a high ceiling, so the Lads decided to put me way up in the air. I must have been 6 feet above them. I almost needed a ladder to get to my drums. I guess you could say “I got high with a little help from my friends”. My ego was sky high!

It was an early show time of 7:00 PM, so you could enjoy the show and gamble the evening away.

The full house audience posed a bit of a challenge; they were sitting at tables, arms crossed and not convinced that RS was going to give them what they came to see. By the end of our British Invasion set we had them wanting more. No one left during our short intermission. That led to our Sgt. Pepper era. By the end of the set, the audience demanded more. Numerous encores later they left with a feeling of what it would have been like back in the day.

It’s an honor to pay tribute to the Beatles!

It was nice to see some familiar faces (Joy, Jim & Judy) making the trip. It made this venue feel a bit more like home.

Jimmy RS thanks you for all your help! We also enjoyed meeting some new Beatle People at and after the show.

Terry, Jack, Chris and others, you’re good people.

Alas, I did not leave the casino a richer man.

Ringo

April 12 - Deans Tavern:

This must be part of the “The Rockin’ East Side” of St. Paul ; and it did rock!

As I said before, “new venues are always an adventure” this venue holds true.

We Lads didn’t really know what to think when we arrived in our Limo’s but it turned out great.

Paul Mateyka and his Tavern crew were fabulous! Thanks for the changing room and all the smiles. We Lads were like kids in the candy store watching the video cameras while doing costume changes. Correct George? True entertainment!

The sound Tech did a hell of a job and you Beatle People made our evening. I hope the hot blond that was carried out is ok. I was a bit concerned when I noticed flashing lights outside. Hopefully she’ll be back soon.

It was wonderful to see some of our friends we haven’t seen for quite some time and as always we enjoy meeting new Beatle people. I’m impresses by how much you Beatle People know “Beatle everything”.

We have been tweaking our shows a bit. Could you tell? Hope you like! More to come on the horizon.

Let us know how we are doing by signing up on the email list. Drop us a note.

We hope to see you soon, maybe a road trip, and a gambling weekend?

Check out the LCO Casino in Hayward WI . May 10th

It’s an early concert.

I and Billy P might end up playing for free that night!

Ringo

March 28th   Medina Ballroom

Mike, thanks for all your hard work getting your Beatle people out to the show. I can only imagine how long your ear was attached to your cell phone.

Be careful not to let that phone get attached permanently to your ear like the chick that had her butt skin grow over the toilet seat! That’s dedication to the cause!

If you missed the Medina show, you may want to make it a point of destination next time. It has everything you could want....great dance floor, sound and an awesome light show. Bud, your light show was like tripping through Strawberry Fields! COOL…….

Continue your celebrating or whatever next door at the motel, just like Polly (yes, the Polly that shares Ringo’s birthday) and friends did that evening. Naughty, naughty! Thanks Polly for making the Day Tripper from Winona !

Snake and yes that Zappa family, you guys rock. Hope the poster of Snake and we lads turn out! Hope to see you down the road.

You people from the compound…., you’re the greatest!

Riff master, Paul tells me you had a boy’s night out and partied at the show. Sorry I didn’t stop by and hi. I didn’t see you. Next time come back to the green room and have a cheer!

It’s off to the next new venue. Anything new is always an adventure.

We’ll be rockin on Rice Street at Deans Tavern April 12th. 651.488.6868

It’ll be fun! Hope to see you there.

March 21st   The Dugout

What is it about the Dugout and Mother Nature?

It seems that every time we have a show there we have to deal with weather.

We’re two for two dealing with winter storms!

RS would like to thank all those Beatle people for weathering the storm. All said, we had a great crowd.

It was great to see Jeff (our webmaster) & Sue out at the show. Hell, Jeff even let his hair down. Sue …..Crazy!!!!

Toby, the house Sound Tech really has the Beatle mix down. Just shut your eyes and WOW, you thought you were back in the day.

Sorry Gordy, (Gordy’s Steak House), we thought we would have time before the show for a cheer but we ran out of time.

Next time,

Fridley Crab House 3/8/08

The winds are a changing.

It’s been a long cold Minnesota winter and RS is starting to see a change in the season.

We’ve seen the first sighting of the “Blue Jay” way.

For those of you that have no idea of what I am trying to convey (probably all you Beatle People) our Blue Jay sighting is a Dwight (George). The first sighting in over two months (after his national ski circuit tour) and “Love” is in the air!

It’s amazing how things can click and fall into place with someone you have worked with for over 3 years. The fans could tell we were “in the zone”. There was no “Helter Skelter”.

Our guest sound tech, Allan Strand (renowned sound tech for  “Black Rebel Motorcycle Club”) was impressed with the RS show. “Awesome”!

We were duly impressed as well with his ability to make our monitors sing & the room sound great. I guess that’s what happens when you travel the world mixing concerts. Thanks, Allan! We lads will see you down the “Long and Winding Road ” this summer!

Let’s not forget to thank Bill, Sean & Rick for giving us awesome performances as backup/standby performers.” It Don’t Come Easy” playing over 60 Beatle songs that you only get to do once in a while. Our hats “off to you” too; keeping the Love of the Beatles going!

Gary , Hope to make it to your swaray in June

Schmitty from SSP – I lost your email address

Missy; our photographer.  – Congrats from RS on you’re soon to be married status. We wish you the best of happiness with your new man!

Thank you, Thank you.

Thanks to all YOU Beatle People that keep coming back to see our show’s!

You’re special!

Hope to see you at our next show ------ The Dugout 3/21 “ – It’ll be a Good Friday!

Ringo

2-22-2008

The Withrow Ballroom Experience:

This place is in Paul’s, & my backyard. What a treat!

The Withrow Ballroom is a great place to shake it up; lots of room on the dance floor to “Twist & Shout” well yes, you Beatle people did just that. Nice crowd and great people to work with at the ballroom

Thanks for coming out!

It was great to see my big sister and her friends from Sconii crossing the boarder to let it all hang out. I saved her the embarrassment of telling a short story of Yellow Submarines and bath tubs. I’m sure she will thank me later. Hopefully we will be crossing the St. Croix sometime soon!

There is a nice place to eat just down the road called Sal’s. They treated us great for a busy Friday night. We only had 45 minutes to eat and they made accommodations for us so we could slip in and out. Besides, the food was good!

Beatle people, did you see the stretch limo out front?

That was our friend Scott's ride for the night. Someday that will be our ride for the evening.

Keep the love going!
Ringo.

2-19-2008

The "Best of the Best party" was a “don’t miss” event. What a party!
Thanks Mpls./St. Paul Magazine for having Rubber Soul, The Tribute “Beatle-ize” the evening.
Food and drinks were served on all floors of the Walker Art Center . This was not your typical buffet dining. The food and cocktails dazzled the palette.
Everyone looked so beautiful!

I’m sure we made some new RS fans that found theIr way to the 8th floor. The guests seemed to be enjoying themselves as they sang along to their favorite Beatles songs.

Lastly, we would like to thank the Walker staff for their help and support. Can we keep you?

Best regards,

Ringo

1-27-2008

Thanks Beatle people for coming out to the Crab House show. It wouldn’t be the same without you!!!!
It’s great to see you returning to our shows. Your faces are becoming more familiar. Also thanks for the newcomers hopping on the submarine. It’s a fun ride, isn’t it?
Did you notice the tall Beatle? That was Sean McNamee. He’s our Irish Norwegian wood man!
Yeah, we had to have three mike stands up front so the Norwood man wouldn’t tip over singing harmonies.
Nice job Sean, I hear you do a good John and Ringo too! We’ll be doing it again soon.
John & I have been a bit under the weather but with some good medication and good lovin we will be just fine!

Hope to see you at the next show at the Whiskey Junction!

Ringo

1-21-2008

 Beatle Beatles:
Thanks for turning the Blue Fox into a Beatle fest!
What a crowd! The Fox rocked!
We hope you got to hear all of your favorites and more!!!!   RS pulled some great tunes out of the hat (or somewhere else). Hope you enjoyed them. Go Rocky Raccoon!
Dwight and I could not be there to perform our favorite Beatle licks due to prior commitments. Dwight was somewhere up north chasing skiing medals and I was at my dad's (Roman) 98th birthday party somewhere in polka land. Thanks lads!
A special thanks goes out to Rick Marquart (aka Jimmy Nichols) and Bill Weeding (aka George Harrison) for helping out RS. They Beatleized the night away! No “Help” needed.
 Bill, Guitar Gently Weeps………….priceless!
Rick, you’re the best! I’m glad we can do this from time to time. Where is that 3rd cymbal that the Lads keep talking about?
   ......Where’s Ringo?
Try Roman’s (dad) 98th birthday party:
I was “shaken it up baby” to plenty of polkas with the old timers at his celebration.  It was quite fun. I know Roman enjoyed himself very much and he was happy all his family could attend. He gets around quite well for being 1 year shy of the birth of the Model T Ford.  Amazing!
I know some of you Beatle Beatles have met him at previous gigs and God willing, he’ll be at some of the upcoming shows. So if you see him at an RS show, stop by and say Hi. You won’t get away without a hug!  Rubber Soul loves him and wishes him the best! Yep, he’s in our poster or you may see him on local cable access reruns of “Polka Time”. (Look for the flashing heart).
To all you Beatle Beatles at the Blue Fox I want to thank you for supporting RS and coming up to me (yes I was there) and saying hi. I actually got to hear my favorite Twin City band in person. Sweet!
Hope to see you all soon. Maybe the next submarine stop?

       Ringo and the Lads.

1-10-2008
  Happy New Year!
The sixth Beatle was kind to us lads in 2007 and we decided to treat ourselves and our special guests (S.O.?) to an evening of great food, drink and conversation.
We truly appreciate their support with this RS project. A special Thank You goes out to them. We love you!
We would also like to thank Gordy Johnson, the proprietor of “Gordy’s Steak House” in Willernie, for inviting Rubber Soul to come eat and drink at his place. Yeah, Gordy didn’t quite remember what he said when he caught our show at the Dugout (next door) in December, but we're glad we took him up on his invitation. We’ll be back!
What a grand place to dine!
The bar definitely caught Brian’s (aka Paul) and my attention; intimate and cozy with a fine selection of libations. The food was fantastic, yet reasonable on the wallet. Gordy, your steaks.. AWESOME! So if you looking for a great dining experience before a Rubber Soul show or anytime, stop in and tell them the lads from Rubber Soul recommended Gordy’s. 651.762.9662
Wishing all you Beatle Beatles (fans) the best of the best in 2008!

Ringo...

1-2-2008
Austin – The people were fantastic! It saw a sold out show and they loved us. We saw grandmothers to 5 year olds digging the experience. The Paramount is a fantastic venue to play.
Britt’s – WOW! Britt’s was packed like sardines in a can. You could hear the crowd singing to all of the hits. It was great to bring in the New Year like this.
The eye candy was impressive! I didn’t know there were so many beautiful ladies in Minn. I wish I was taking pictures from the stage to show the sea of people having a great time.
